Like most of our Saturday afternoons, we spent it sitting in a cafe discussing our plans for our very own cafe that we're gonna open one day. It's still early days and we are learning so much from visiting lots and lots of different cafes, learning about what makes a great cafe in terms of style, layout, consistently good service, atmosphere, and of course quality food at reasonable prices. We came to the conclusion that what we really want to open is a bistro, which is basically a small restaurant serving moderately priced simple meals in a modest setting. Ahhhh! So excited but have to be patient and do all the planning cos once we get into it, we are committing our lives to it. I like what we're in for! This may sound really sad but I also spent my Saturday night reading up on french cuisine and bookmarking some dishes to try out. All this while James was watching Harry Potter. Yeah, we're totally cool!
